Oil pan is on and ready to go. I got my Christmas present today so things will progress quickly towards completion. Unfortunately, unrelated to the car I have suffered a hand injury so it is making work slow going.

I installed the flex fuel sensor to the factory supply line. However, the factory supply line is now the return.

The Squash Double Pumper will use 2x Walbro 400 units so I will be reporting back on its operation soon. Since I already had 1x Walbro 400 I had them supply me with the second unit. Outlet is -8 and return is -6.

Almost done with getting the motor back together and then I can focus on the Squash Double pumper install. I will have to order a few lines from Summit, but I hope to have it going by next weekend.

Better safe than sorry...

Yes, the Haltech Platinum Pro PnP compensates fuel/ignition based on the ethanol content in the fuel. Once this is tuned you can run either fuel and the computer will automatically make changes.

I was able to get the fuel filter installed today. There was a nice spot under the car in the rear, but because of my 1/2" SS hardline I could get it plumbed with AN lines. I purchased this inexpensive highflow filter/bracket/fittings from SquashPerformance along with my double pumper. I should have the remaining fitting tomorrow to plumb the rest of the car.

UPDATE:

I was able to trim and paint the fuel filter and fpr regulator brackets.

I ran all the extra wires through the firewall for the Flex Fuel Sensor, Air Temp Sensors (before/after) intercooler, and two switch ground leads for future use. It is hard to see from the picture inside the car, but the hole goes through two pieces of sheet metal and I have a rubber grommet with black silicone on the firewall side. I will squeeze some silicone into the wires for final water seal.

Finally, I am wiring up to the E85 gauge that also sends the 0-5v output to the Haltech.

UPDATE:

I finished installing the Autometer single gauge pod for the steering column. The gauge is nice because it shows me ethanol content, but also converts the flex fuel sensor output to a 0-5v analogue signal for the Haltech.

I was able to install the Squash double pumper with 2x Walbro 400's. I shipped my siphon and pump to Squash and they shipped back this nice unit. I also ordered from them some relays for the pumps.

I next had to shorten the crossover tube 3" for the saddle tank due to the location of the fitting on the Squash unit. I removed the crossover tube by undoing each end and wiggling around. The crossover tube snapped out of the two clips and it pulled right out. I mocked it up on my bench and held with some clamps. Holding the passenger side I slid the drivers' side over 3". I applied heat with a heat gun and the vinyl tube held its shape. I then snaked it back through and installed.

I then connected the fuel lines from the hard line to the Squash unit. The factory hardline is 5/16" so I purchased an efi fitting from 5/16" hardline to 3/8" line in a 90deg. I am using the factory hardline as the return. The one on the left is the factory 90deg connector. Interesting the the OEM pump housing is 3/8" going to a 5/16" hardline.

Finally, I got the relay wiring started and this is basically the last thing remaining before I start the car. The second pump will be controlled with the Haltech via switched ground to its relay.

I have the relay power wires running to the battery box in the back where it will be connected to 2x 30A fuses.

the gains from the CurtBrown ported vs the skunk was a no brainer. picked up so much hp/torque throughout the rpm range with minimal impact up top. the results where 24hrs apart with no other changes.
