If I'm not mistaken I had thought you were a fellow nearing middle age who was not as immateur as you're making yourself look. Trying to discredit David by alleging that he made reference to your lackluster results in his post is ludacris, and you should be ashamed.
Ya know what, It would be nice if you could keep your *** out of this thread. Give credit where credit is due, and that goes to David and Tym on this one. If you don't like that, you can shove it up your *** you clown. Don't get your labcoat dirty Shiv, the price of fame is going up and you're not going to be able to dryclean as often.

Ok, you quoted me but no where in there did I call Buschur the "god of 4G63". Although I do think he knows his stuff through and through. *MY* point was that Shiv should be careful who he yaps about without checking to make sure that someone isn't going to raise the BS flag on him. And simply put, Shiv lives off his rep, hopefully he'll realize it's going to ****e before he gets to the poor house and does something POSITIVE to correct it
BTW, to everyone at Buschur, Good job!

WOW, I am at the bottom of page four and have ran out of room for little notes on my piece of paper. I am going to address some of what I have read so far.
It is obvious that there are serious Shiv followers and serious Buschur followers. I am not really looking for either. I came here to tell how happy I am with this new addition to the line of products we are offering.
I also came here to try and point out that you can disregard the dyno type and simply look at the curve. I wasn't pointing my finger directly at Shiv, there are a BUNCH of companies with dyno charts both here and on their websites that have the same downward horsepower curve. Take it for what you want. Want to be blind and argue with me, that is fine too. Like I have said before spend you money where you like, I hope you are happy with your choices.
Quite simply we have managed to run OUR EVO with a bone stock complete engine, even the fasteners, the turbo, manifold, 02 housing and no weight taken out like the interior or anything to times that are on par with the fastest most modified EVO's in the country. 11.65 at 117.88 mph on those stock parts can't be argued with.
Ryan, I have come to the conclusion you don't like us much. I am going to answer your questions once more and from now on I will probably just ignore your crappy attitude. First off, you were wrong again, we not only have an 8 second 4g63 powered car we also have a 7 second 4g63 powered car, wanted to clear that up. We aren't behind in the ECU game. We have never spent time modifying ECU's in the past. We used other products to tune with. The flash programs are a great way to go. They flashing tool costs in excess of $7,000. I personally had no interest in spending that kind of money to buy it. Al had the flash machine he spent his money on. I met Al in July at the DSM/EVO Shootout and liked him. After hearing about his results and watching what he was doing I got more interested. He actually contacted me and asked if I would be interested in working together. We would use our dyno and car, do the tuning and he would punch the key board as he is familar with how to use the flash software. That is how it came to be.
The below are answeres to general questions from everyone else.
Of course Al is going to be getting money from doing this. We have one day and 15 years of tuning invested in the flash. He has the last couple months of his life devoted to learning how to run the equipment and he also made the $7,000 investment in the equipment.
We made very little additional HP with the AFC and it was at the peak only. With the AFC we had the car tuned closer to 12.0:1 AFR's than we had to with the flash. The pump gas flash was in the 11.5:1 AFR range and we decided with the power and torque we were making there was no sense in tuning any further.
If the AFC settings have gotten mixed up after you bought the unit from us then YES, it could definetely make the car run rich. You can call us, we will verify you bought the unit from us and we can fax the instructions over to you again.
You don't need the AFC with the flash. It is a good tool for fine tuning but to be honest most guys won't be able to get it any closer.
The flash is available now and only through us. In order to get the flash we did with Al you will have to call us and pay for it, we will then give you an RA number to enclose with the ECU. Al WILL NOT reflash the ECU with our tune in it without this RA number.
The cams did give Al some problems. The AFC was good at getting the daily driving really good with the cams. What the car needed could be tuned with it. With the flash on the dyno we didn't have the car stall one time all day. The 262/264 cams are in our EVO.
To SHIV,
First off I wasn't only referring to you, but now that you mention it your HP curve does suck. I don't care what you are tuning on, the HP curve shouldn't look like it does on your charts. Blame it on octane, California air or the seagulls ****ting on your windshield on one of your canyon runs, whatever, the curve sucks on the top.
You also told someone to "keep this free of sarcasm and flaming", you started in on me the first post you made asking if Al helped me write what I wrote. You are as bad as anyone. I never said your name and like I said you were one of MANY I was referring to on the dyno chart.
Shiv, you are of NO concern to me. NONE. Other shops have a hard on for you, I could care less about you. I had my say when I first came on here, you called my shop and we talked about it. I don't think I have said anything negative about you since then not here or anywhere else.
Back to babbling in general.
Our times speak for the HP numbers we are claiming. That is the bottom line. Our times have always spoken for your HP and our HP for our times. There is no smoke and mirrors with us. I am out here for the long haul, 15 years with the DMS's/4g63's already. We aren't going anywhere, just going faster.

What is the difference from a regular dynoflash and a Bushur Dynoflash? Is it only for Evos with Buschur parts? If this was covered I apologize...just wondering what the specifics are in the differences
Price the same?

Price the same?
Yeah I was curious, if I currently have a Al tuned Dynoflash and I want to upgrade to stage 2, 3 or 4 from Buschur, do I have to pay 400 bux (again), or the regular mail-in upgrade price from Al?
Shivvie,
A few weeks ago, I expressed interest in both your Stage II turbo kit and purchasing an XEDE. You told me that you would get back to me after the weekend, and that was only after I called you out on it here. I'm still waiting, sweetcheeks.
On the other hand, when I call Dave's shop, the guy on the other end of the phone actually KNOWS what he's talking about instead of lying and saying "Shiv or Brett'll call ya back or something." At this point, I don't care if the XEDE parts the red sea, you're not seeing a dime of my money, period.
On the other hand, I own every product Buschur sells for the Evo. That tells you a little something about their customer service, quality of their product and general business attitude that I think you could stand to learn a lot from.
Regards,
Joe

Wow, a vendor that takes the time to answer questions about their products and is straight to the point... OH MY GOD... I think I'll have a heart attack.
Simply put Dave, Thank you for all the work you have done, and continue to do. I run your products on my car and I like them. I have well over $45000 invested in parts on my car, it isn't a drag race vehicle and I STILL run Buschur parts. There are those in this industry that actually care about it, like you, and for that, from me, and all the people at RMDSM, Thank you.
Shiv, I know you're reading this, and seething because you can't delete the posts, but I'll say this. Stop berating people, it makes you look bad, especially when they're quicker on the uptake. Stop disecting what people say so you can make it look better for you. Stop to learn about the 4G63 before you pee in a pool that is a lot larger than you think it is. Stop to actually consider that this engine in all its splendor has been out a long time and we've got a bit of experience under our belts. Your comments when you were out here in colorado were lacking at best. From what you said about Dave Landry's car I can obviously tell you know nothing of the 4G63 or its family. I offer you this advice not to belittle you, but to try to give you an insite to a community that is tightknit. We are the DSM community, 1G, 2G and Evo alike. We may all bicker like crazy, but we're family in a weird sort of way. And unless you wish to be known as that crazy uncle that no one cares for (although I prefer Napoleon so much better) I would stop and think of whos wheaties you've just taken a leak in. Just friendly advice, it is the only friendly advice I will ever give you. Everyone and their brother knows there is no great love between the two of us.
And if you are still wanting that respenct, cmon back to Colorado, and I will tune any compareable car with a real device versus you. Come win your respect, because the DSM community doesn't freely give it to ANYONE.

I'm sorry, OT but...your quote rocks!
"Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."
I've had people ask me the difference, and that just about sums it up

The Stage 4 tune was done on straight race gas with the big injectors and pump installed. We did the Stage 3 tune on straight 94 octane pump gas. We have a tune for the Stage 4 on pump gas also, this is more of a driveability tune than anything as the power does not go up significantly.
If you already have the AFC and want to get the flash you would be best off to keep the AFC for fine tuning, if you can do it. When installing the AFC WITH the flash you will simply zero out the AFC.
Flames666, yes we can do the flash using someone else's catback. We did the tuning targeting our parts only. I am sure the tune will work fine with the catback you have, like to see mine on the car but.........I'll settle for you adding our stage 2 and 3. haha
If you have the flash you do not have to run the AFC with it. This means for the guys without the AFC already you more than likely will never have to purchase it.
The ECU has to get sent to Al. It has to be sent with an RA number from Buschur Racing though. This RA number gets issued when you call us and pay for the flash. You then just mail it in to the address we give you with the number. We take the credit card and process the sale at our shop.
Yes, we will have flashes for each stage, stages 1-4. 3 and 4 are done now, Al is going to finish 1-2 this week, most of the work was done at the shop for them.
The Buschurflash is what we (Al and Buschur Racing) have come up with to call our flash. The flash we came up with this weekend is exclusive to us. The Dynoflash Al has offered in the past is still available.
Something else. I made one post yesterday. I haven't been back until tonight to read all this. This had gotten up to 6 pages in about 24 hours. In these 6 pages I have been basically attacked by Shiv quite a few times. To be quite honest it really pisses me off. I said earlier you (Shiv) are NO concern to me. I could care less what you are doing. I wasn't referring to you directly. It is obvious to me that you have some type of problem with me though. I have dealt with guys like you for the last 15 years and as long as I am in business will continue to meet guys like you. I don't know what your problem is but I would highly recommend you making it with someone other than me. Take that for what it is worth. As for calling you "****" instead of "shiv" I am guessing this is something that happened to you in your childhood. I actually didn't come up with that and have never said it. I also don't think Al would say that I said it, as I didn't. What I have said is VISHNU stands for "Very Inadaquate **** Has No Use".
Please stay out of my threads, I didn't attack you or even mention you.
I can't believe Al was banned from here for doing the same thing you came in here doing. I haven't even seen a moderator say anything to you about it. I hope to see that change.

I am obviously concerned with making money, I am business, have 9 guys at our shop, tons of overhead. To be honest about the flash though, I haven't given alot of thought to what is fair to reflash the ECU. We just helped Al come up with the "perfect" tune for our parts. From here on out all we do is handle the sales and Al has to do all the other work.
To answer your question I don't have a price on what it is going to cost to reflash your Dynoflash to our 2-3-4 Stages of tune. I didn't even really think about this happening.
Maybe Al can give some idea what the pricing will be.
