I'm still running mine without any issues. Going on around 6 months now.

I'm not flaming, but i'm just wondering what the benefit of this modification is? I can see that it creates a lot of space and makes it easier to work on the car. But, other then that?

It looks 10x better to have a shiny aluminum radiator with a nice Hallmann bolted to it IMO

I would say less weight, more airflow into the engine bay, forward facing turbo, more room, looks cleaner.

In addition to what others have said, it moves the upper radiator hose away from the exhaust manifold. Note: You could do this with a full Evo 4/5/6 radiator too.

Ya that's true too. It makes it so it just goes straight back instead of curving around by the exhaust mani.

Id like to add, when you guys are watching your coolant temp, make sure you're logging coolant temp SCALED and not the raw coolant temperature.

I thought I was running hot, but then realized I was logging the wrong one. I haven't gone over 200 degrees yet, and that's with dumping my wg right into my engine bay lol

logged with EVOscan doing 3rd and 4th gear WOT pulls. High of 205 quickly went down to 195. Still good here.

Interesting. I have been logging raw coolant temp and tonight doing some tuning pulls logged up to 222.8. However I have a small coolant leak on the back of the head and will be fixing that tomorrow and then reburping the system and do some more logs.

Could you explain why your logging scaled instead of raw?
