That's about the best I can do without pulling out my piping. It snakes under my ic piping along the tranny and the bends were perfect to meet up with the new radiator.

Thanks for the pic. Is that a good spot for the sensor to get an accurate reading?

Lower hose, close as you can to the head. The OEM coolant temp sensor that triggers the fans, the same one that the ecu reads is the larger one. Evoscan reads from the larger one, this is just for the dummy gauge. I haven't even grounded it yet, I've been reading my temps in evoscan. Haven't touched 200 yet, but it's cold here

So with this setup you drill a hole in the chassis between the stock intake air inlet holes to mount the radiator bracket?

I have a 12" fan that came with a kit around 935rms with Mishimoto hoses, thermostat and civic rad should this be ok to keep her cool?

Yes and yes, as long as everything is in good working order. Why the Mishimoto hose? Is it straight?

The hose should be good. What are you using your car for? The only thing I haven't seen this set up used for is road racing.

Using it for DD odd track day which could include drag, racing and time attack.

I'm going to get my local welder to tig weld another aluminium radiator support on the Mishimoto rad this sounds better to me then drilling through the chassis.

Bump for a great thread. Happy to see that people are able to dd thid setup without any problems.Ordering my setup this week. Half rad, slim fan and a bottle of water wetter. Replacing a cracked oem radiator so I might as well free up some room while I'm at it lol

That's exactly what my thinking was and what happened to me. Definitely glad I did it. ^^

So based on the previous page... the half size radiator is NOT recommended for DD on hot weathers (80+F)...?

Would a 3 row make a big difference vs the 2 row radiator?

There's still more slack I could cut out if need be.
So you have your Prosport temp gauge sensor on the bottom or hot hose? I put it on the top ?

Also I want to know with this DNA radiator on the Evo, are the holes the same size to use OEM replacement Samco hoses without a problem or ?

Also want to know if the bottom/top mounting brackets are the same on the Evo and Civic, I'm worried a bit, I'm about to order this radiator while my car is apart. Not a dd but it's driven quite a bit in the summer including racing.
