start it off with some pliers to get it started and lined up then crimp it down on a bench vise.

I used a torch and soldered all the ends on the cables when I relocated my battery.

Thanks guys!

I was just curious because the only thing I have seen for a 1 gauge was a "hydraulic crimper" which was at cheapest $50 (all the way up to $100+)... and, I was thinking, this can't possibly be how everyone is doing it.

Thanks again!

By the way, if anyone wants one of those red covers from the evo x, I have one BNIB which I'll sell for $10 shipped to your door. I thought I was going to go that angle then I decided not to.

PM me

So I recently relocated my battery to the trunk, just used the original power cable and ran a wire to the trunk then my ground is connected to the frame of the car near rear fender. What would you recommend to do with the power cable in the front? Right now it is just kind of floating around not really stabilized.
