flutter during spool up or is it?

OK I have ruled out that it is the diverter valve because I have the stock IX on there. Yes, the car is tuned properly as well. So, what happens is during wot at low Rpms the Turbo will spool and then start to flutter like crazy And then stop completely. Any suggestions?

It could still be the stock diverter valve if it's now leaking. Replacing my stock IX DV with my APS DV fixed my flutter issue a couple years ago.

maybe something on the exhaust side. one of my friends had a bad wastegate spring and he had surge issues.

Chad Block can explain it way better than me, but he has led me to believe otherwise. Or more precisely, that most people mistake flutter for compressor surge. I did.

its your wastegate actuator going bad. get an fp 18 or 25psi WGA, it should fix all flutter.
