You can gain as much or as little as you want with a load bearing dyno. It's all up to the person running it.

other dynos' results can be fudged as well, just as easily. there's a whole lot of configuration parameters that aren't displayed on most printed dyno graphs.

xflash/xede combo: $1000
Dynoflash: $300

I'm not saying I believe the numbers....but that seems like a really fair comparison...

check out al &dyno flash i have never seen him have an unsatisfied customer and he offers a money back gaurantee. al can definately get you power and torque gains. dynoflash is definately the way to go. with over 450 cars tuned i think that speaks for it self

I had Al "Dynoflash" my car and
it feels really good. Im about to find out how much power i got today when i go to the drag strip. If u have a problem with the flash for any reason Al is willing to take care of u quickly.

I don't want to start a #'s debate, but I have to bring up an important point. There's a big difference in peak hp and the actual look of the power curve. A flashed car that gained 50whp could be slower than one with a better curve that gained 35whp. It all depends on when the power comes on in relation with the torque and when/if it fades away.

Just don't fall into the trap of the single highest number. If you say reliable, I think that's a step in the right direction.

Ok, so we'll say Dynoflash tuned @ $500 vs the Vishnu xflash/xede combo of $1000.

Not real accurate.

I gained 35+ HP with the XEDE/XEDEflash after a base of 210HP with mods. Its like driving a totally different car.

the only way to really prove whos the best is to get ONE evo, all 3 of the tuners together "dynoflash, vishnu, works" and have each of them have their go with the same evo in the same garage on the same dyno. Maybe even have the same driver run the car at the track all in the same day "thats pushing it" but the 3 tuners can definitely have their go on the same car the same day.

If I had to do everything over again, I'd take my stock car to the dyno, any dyno, and get some good baseline information as to where the car is in stock form.

Only then, I'd start doing mods. Remember all these cars are different. There are stock EVOs that make over 300 whp (just look at their ETs and Traps speeds). There are others that barely put down 190 whp .....

If your particular EVO is a knock prone car or has other issues that prevent it from making good power right out of the box, it might be better to try and get the car up to snuff. Maybe one could take it to and make them replace or correct the engine problems that show from the dyno sheets including, fuel & ignition maps and timing pull.....

Only if my car was a good running, strong EVO right out of the box, would I then get some mods. Personally, I'd not get any off-the-shelf solution that may or may not work well with my particular car, of course, YMMV, etc.

My plan if all else is right, would be to get some sort of user tuneable piggy back or stand alone and then, go back to the dyno and have a good, competent tuner adjust the device to get the best power safely out of the motor.

Just my $.02

Manuel

really so do you want to explain to me how some evos came out of the factory making almost 70 more crank hp than advertised? 300whp is about 340 crank hp there is no way in hell any evos came with that much crank hp
