oil in compressor housing fp black dbb
What does it mean if a brand new MHI DBB Red (Bought in early 2014) leaked oil into the compressor housing from the very first start up at idle? Before even being driven mine has done this.
I can take off the intake pipe and watch it push tiny amounts of oil into the compressor housing. I have a -10an on the side of the valve cover but it's currently not hooked up. Like I said, this is happening at idle from when the turbo was brand new.

Ok thanks. I'm getting the bigger fitting welded to my intake tomorrow to hook up the line. I also plan to do the STM sealed catch can which will increase the size of the PCV side.
I doubt just connecting the hose to the intake will solve it too, but after I get the STM Sealed can along with the -10an fitting on the side of my valve cover I will be very upset if it still persists..
Welcome to FP DBB life.
If you want to help alleviate it as much as possible, run both valve cover ports and the balance shaft inspection fitting from stm to a SEALED AND BAFFLED catch can and then give the catch can a vacuum source such as the intake pipe or a vacuum pump.
