I don't know if anyone has mention it or not but has anyone thought about making a SS housing similar to MHI's just to satisfy the lacking supply issue?

Yes and while possible to do you have to make a choice.

Make a more expensive housing that offers no performance gains and keep the frame where it's currently at but allows for easier fitment.

Or

Create a all new turbine housing that moves the frame forward allows for increased performance and scalability.

We're a performance turbocharger manufacturer that's all we do, all we've ever done. Every turbocharger we make is made with one primary goal in mind, make it kick as much *** as possible. Continuing the status quo or mimicking what someone else is doing is not our thing.

I understand and totally respect the decision about the innovation. Its nice to know that I have options for my JB Green in the future.

Wow, that was a busy 18 pages. Call me cheap but i want the $1600 JB turbos back, lol. I realize the supply issues forced this direction and applaud you for moving forward but that is too rich for my blood.

I see them selling in the race market easily but like others have said, the age of the average evo owner is getting younger and younger. I'm 29 and feel like i'm getting old for the local scene. I just hope you didn't advance your product too far and price yourself out of the market.

certain turbos used to be decently priced.. but are getting crazy now.

i paid $1,000 for my slightly-used JB turbo and it's awesome.

Those off us in strict parts of CA are at a disadvantage. We have to have 100% stock-appearing turbos to stay out of trouble. Not a very large market . I foresee us getting left behind. Too bad as I like a direct bolt-in turbo where everything fits first try.
These stainless housings are still f'ing gorgeous, though.

As for those of you doing price comparisons you do not need our manifold. You do not need to spend $800 on a DP/O2 solution it's just the first one out there will surely be more to follow and the price will go down as supply and demand changes.

Hello Michael,

3rd or 4th gear pull on the dyno ?

Looks impressive gain with the bigger turbine wheel and the new house. The Green now capable the power of the Red ?! with the red spool-in time and Green transient respons ?!

I believe its a 2.3L motor, so the boost threshold ought to be early.

yes Michael said it is 2.3 liter , but not so bad spool with the bigger turbine wheel ( same as the black now ) and more open near single scroll house if it was dyno in 3rd gear.

What rpm reach the 28psi ?
What is the differences between the 2 dyno ?

stock block camshaft evo 9 with BB Black mhi turbine house 3th!! gear 26 psi @ 4000 rpm .
