Is the above ring gap correct? It would see that it is a lot tighter than the rest of the calculations I've seen. Is it not .020in and .025in?

LR2.4 is in a 4g64 block, larger bore than 4g63, therefore, larger ring gap..

That doesn't make any sense to me. The gap is measured between both ends of the ring... Not the actual diameter of the ring.

Right, but a larger cylinder bore requires a larger ring end gap. You set the gap higher on an 87mm bore than you do an 85.5mm bore..
