I don't think there have been any issues reported with their JB turbos.

New Green 73HTZ is only $1100 USD??

Do you think Robert would sell it without the exhaust housing?
I could get a factory housing machined here to suit, assuming the centre core pattern is the same.

So since I am currently located in the UK I will be purchasing the Ross Sport version of this turbo in ball bearing form. I'll post pics and info as I get the turbo on hand and once tuned I'll do a full review.

I'm very excited since I have been looking for a good replacement for my BBK Full. I have been looking for something that can deliver power like a BBK-B/FP Red and I hope this one does it! If not I'm selling it

Well, that's the question. Is it the same exact turbo? Or slightly different?

Few things I found when sending in my MHI housing for an HTZ Green upgrade:
* FP will not sell just the CHRA (I had access to a blown green and just wanted the CHRA).
* There is a six week wait for the upgrade.
* The stock compressor cover is an option

I was going to opt for the Red, but it seems this green may make almost as much power, and spool faster. Transient response will obviously be better, which was the deciding factor.

Would this turbo be able to break 400whp on 91 pump with supporting mods? Trying to determine whether or not I should go with this or an fp black jb. Considering my car is a street car. And I noticed on a post above, the black requires a catch can setup? Is this necessary for the jb black?

Should do 400 on pump. If it doesn't, a red will. No reason to go up to a black. You should improve crank case ventilation regardless of the turbo. The stock setup is dismal.

If you're considering this FP54, going to a Black would be a mistake of you (I think). Your fallback option should be a Red IMHO.

Yea I think I may go with this or a Red. My original goal was to break 500. I do plan on taking it to occasional track days, 1/4 runs. I wanted my Evo to be a quick car along with ideal drivability. So probably this or a Red would suit my goal.

You should have E85 in your area, a Red will 500 on E85 no problem. A safe track day tune for the red on E85 will be 400-450whp depending on supporting mods.
