Am i reading that right, is it hitting 22 psi at around 3300 rpms in third gear? If so, that is crazy fast spool for a turbo this size, that's about 700 rpms faster spool than my EFR 7670 on a 2.2 stroker.

No, on the high boost tune, 20psi was at 43-4400 IIRC. 29psi at 4600. I'll get datalogs next week

For reference....

2.15L with S362 SXE (6268) on 93 pump using my revised MIVEC tune in 3rd Gear...

MIVEC helps a lot. And twin scroll vs vband.

Garrett delayed the release of the T4 Divided turbine housings for the G series from July to September. I was tempted to buy a G35-1050 last week just to have it, but want to wait until the turbine housing is actually available.

Your car appears to make boost sooner, but looking at your dyno results, the torque curve is very close to what we got out of the Gseries with 400wtq around 4650. Yes, you have a larger turbo that could make more on ethanol, but the twin scroll and mivec is what is really making the difference in spool up here. And we also have some room left to make more with this g30 if we had more fuel.

Looking forward to twin scroll being released for the Gseries though.

The spool of the S362 on the dyno (blue) lagged what I saw on the street (red) by ~200rpm due to load, which I detailed in my dyno results thread (see picture below).

Since then I have raised the MIVEC timing during spool to increase boost response so on the street I am about 300rpm faster than my dyno results in terms of spool. Below is a picture comparing spool of my dyno run (blue) vs my latest spool with the MIVEC changes on the street (red).

Regardless of all that, we're comparing apples to astronauts here, especially considering the G30 results are without mivec. We also made more power, but with 5psi less boost on E85 vs your 93 octane. The setups are so different they're not exactly worth comparing IMO.

Nice
Do you have a graph of street runs before and after the mivec mod?

Were they both single runs? Typically if you make a run, then back it up it will come up faster .

So you heard that divided housings are still coming for the G-series turbos? I was beginning to get worried that they had been cancelled.

Post 214 above shows back to back runs using the new MIVEC values during spool with the only difference being I ran negative cam timing above 7000 RPM.

Below is the requested street runs before and after MIVEC changes during spool.

I was told this by a Garrett Master distributor last week when I was thinking about buying a G35-1050, which I assume is associated with production delays in Mexico due to coronavirus.
