We will see. Garrett doesn't even offer those for gtx 30r and gtx 35r turbos. I think ATP does them.

By looking at the specs i am still confused to which turbo it is comparable with
6466, 6266 or any 800 hp capable EFR series.
From horsepower view, it seems that the G30-900 is similar with 6466, always referring in Garrett power output. The next smaller turbo that Garrett offers, is the G25 which has 660hp. I think the 6266 falls somewhere between those two turbos.

In my opinion the G30-900 will struggle to make 900whp like 6466 do. However i believe a G35-900 would be easier to achieve that or even make more power than a 6466. Also, i believe that those new turbos would be more responsive than pte equivalent units or gtx series, so it will be a win-win case if it meets our expectations and advertised power output

I don't know about spool better, but it flows 10lbs/min more! Look to the G30-660 if you want better spool and equal power to the gtx3071r gen2. Of course, the G-series uses MarM for the turbine wheel which has a much higher temp limit than the inco wheel in the gtx = more power.

It's not really a "replacement". The Gseries is an entirely different turbocharger line than the GTX.

Wheel size for wheel size, yes. They both have 60mm turbine and 67mm compressor. But both the turbine and compressor wheels are of different design. And the G-series turbo is basically all new too. Well, it came out 2.5 years ago.

Haven't quite understand what is its market segment since for every Gseries there is a gtx2 series that does the same

Size for size the g series out flows the gtx2, and the wheels are lighter, which means they spoil faster and have better response.

There's barely any gseries results. If you find one, post it here.
