Exedy Twin Issue?

So I have a Exedy Twin installed about 6 months ago! Clutch had its clutch chatter but the noise went away? Also I never had any issues shifting at high RPMS like I did with my ACT. I have never launched this car with this clutch yes I have done full send to 8k and no issues. Well last week I was coming to a stop and I push the clutch in and the RPMs stayed up as if I was still driving at normal speeds. I was trying to get it out of gear and it was kind of hard to do so, So I figured maybe I didn't have the pedal down all the way! Then the next stop I know 100% the pedal was all the way down and it did it again but this time in 3rd gear! the clutch is only 6 months old and the car is driven like a grandma. The only time I really go 100% throttle is getting on a freeway! and when the car was being tuned.

I also was looking around and there is nothing leaking and the clutch fluid is clean and full. But I did see that the lower radiator hose is hitting the slave boot and I thought maybe that was the issue but again this just stated happening about a week ago. The TOB is OEM, not to sure if this is a exedy twin disc thing or what but has anyone had this issue before if so what was the issue and what did you do to fix it. If I need to spend another $1000 for another clutch im going to be pissed seeing its only 6 months old. Let me know what was your issue if you had the same.

Well I think Jonno99 may have found your solution. I ran a twin and it is the best clutch I ever had in the car. Had similar issues as you with a prior ACT unit. Sounds like the article explains what needs to be down to correct your problem. Bummer you have to pull the trans out again. I had a trans shop polish all the gear selectors/sliders and also replaced the syncros in my 5-speed as well since my shifting was always notchy. Looks like the clutch needs some attention too like described in the article. Would hope that takes care of your issue.

The new exedy twins come polished already. Sounds like a hydraulic system or pedal adjustment issue. The system needs bled, or the slave or master cylinder is giving up, or you need to adjust the pedal.
