Engine stalling

I have AEM shortram, and Greddy TypeS bov Recirculated w/lower vacuum connect & spring set soft.

Anyways anytime I am cruising 20-50 mph and I put it in neutral the engine rpms shoot down to 150-700 RPMs then most of the time it goes back to 1000 rpms or it stalls.

Also I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but sometimes when I drop my hood to close it w/the engine running the engine stops for like a second, but doesn't die. I figured it was air being forced down the maf through the intake when the hood closes but am not sure.

hey deca auto i used to have the aem intake also and it makes my car close to stalling at times.try checking the connections to see if you got any loose fittings there and tighten them all up.

fr34k vta will make your car stall not unless your not on maf anymore like a speed density sensor.heck even with the recirculating kit on the hks bov it still stalls sometimes.get a recirculating kit and that would kinda help with the bov.you can either switch to a forge bov that recirculates already.

Take out the smaller spring inside the BOV, leave the big one and set it soft.

I have the Aem short ram intake too, and my cars stalls also at times, same thing when coming to a stop or pulling into a parking spot at low speed and low rpm. Has anyone fixed this problem, I am told that it is the maf getting turbulence or something and it getting confused. Also after the car stalls its a hard start, take s afew for it to start back up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. All conections and all are tight, so I dont know what else it is.

Thanks

put back the stock intake, and let the stock ecu run the show.......if it (stalling, etc.) doesn't come back, then...
hate to do it, but I will.......
At worst, I'll have to figure out how to set-up a stand-alone "brain"...if i decide on continuing my car's "aftermarket life"
*anyone know how to tune using a MOTEC?
