Do we have a Tuning Stage guide for the EVO? If not look in here!

SGP sells parts for the 300ZX. Every other place that sells parts for the 300ZX will have different stages of mods for sale. We have the same thing for the EVO. Buschur Racing has stages 1-4 now, and Vishnu has 1-3. Each shop will have different packages for sale. Go with a reputable vendor that is close enough to you to get good hands on tech support if you are new to the modification game, if you are experianced and can trouble shoot problems on your own go with who ever has the parts you need for the lowest price

I think that stages are kind of a joke myself. I don't personally believe in sticking with one vendor for everything either. There is a plethora of upgrade parts available for your cars. Pick and choose the items that will suit you the best in every category. For example, Helix makes killer exhaust pieces, RMR makes killer intercooler piping, Buschur has a great stock fitting intercooler, Turbo Trix can tune like a *****, while HKS has a great intake and say, Blitz has the beefiest freaking boost soloniod ever. Giving one vendor sole control of all of your modification is pretty much foolish IMHO.

Nate's car is VERY FAST for the mods that are on it. How do I know? Just trust me, I know . He b*tch slapped a Buschur Evo the other day, and just yesterday, I witnenssed him stomp a lightly modded evo's d&ck in the dirt. His ride is a real gym.

The Buschur Rcaing stages are very useful and well thought out. I use the same four stages to catagorize my tunes.

I don't believe in stages and decided to go my own route from the beginning on this car. I just posted up an opinion for my original post on this thread, everybody is going to do what they want when they want. To me, it's more fun to research parts and add them when wanted/needed then sell out and buy a kit/stage from a vendor. Be original, do it yourself.

I should have added that Al can put a hell of a tune on an Evo as well, for a hell of a price.

Stages are good in many instances, but I prefer to make my cars more custom and personal.

stage search! It comes before stage 0 and requires clicking "search"

No but really.. they are useufull but over played.. hell I don't even know what stage my car would be considered.. I guess a stage 3 without the upper pipe and intake kit. I've always gone by the Buschur "path".

goto buschuracing.com and view their upgrade path. or roadraceengineering.com to view theirs for the evo or a DSM. Then you could goto DSM.org and check out the '2g go faster pages' and read that upgrade path. All of which will tell you pretty much the same thing.

A upgrade path for anyother car will not be the same for the evo (except maybe a dsm) and even then pps have different preference's on what to mod first.
