And before you even ask, it works great. Started the car in -10 F Weather no problem.
Cool... What kind of terminals does that come with? Did you have to adapt your cables to fit?

It does not come with normal car terminals. I had to drill out the terminals on the battery a bit to make them bigger. Then I just ran a bolt through the terminals.

What about the roof from AMS (I think is who makes it) 1100 dollars and it saves 11 lbs over the stock GSR roof? But this comes into the same situation as all the unsprung mass 100 dollars a pound off the roof is a pretty good deal whereas 100 dollars a pound out of the middle of the car at the center of gravity would be a waste of money. So anyone looking at the thread needs to take that into consideration, especially if you're track racing.

You should probly be a little more specific, I believe the Seibon hood is the one your talking about.

Gialla, Monster, C-West, Robispec are all lighter than 20.2 lbs.

For instance the Robispec hood is 11lbs..

I believe Gialla is like 14lbs.

Monster is around 13lbs.

Cant remember what the C-West hood weighs, but the wet carbon version is lighter than stock, and the dry carbon hood is obviously lighter than that.

The Robispec hood is not a streetable item, much to lightweight. There may be others that are a little lighter than stock, the specs from our site are from a year or more ago. The few hoods that I have seen come through here that are probably lighter than stock all sag when you support them by the prop rod, which in time is going to cause them to crack/break.

Here are some additional weights:

Front windshield 25 pounds, lexan 8
Rear windown 13.5 pounds, lexan 6.3.
Rear washer bottle, empty 8 pounds.
Apexi N1 suspension, 34 pounds which is 30 pounds less than stock.
Robispec hood, 9.9 pounds
Robispec trunk, 9.5 pounds
Robispec trunk skin, 4.4 pounds
VIS carbon fiber hood, 21.6 pounds
VIS carbon fiber trunk, 11.9 pounds
Stock EVO hood, 20.2 pounds
Stock EVO trunk lid w/no wing 22.5 pounds
Stock EVO front rotor, 21.35 pounds
Giro Disc front rotor, 17.4 pounds
Stock EVO rear rotor, 14.6 pounds
Giro Disc rear rotor, 11.1 pounds
Project Mu front rotors, 18 pounds
Bear front rotors 15.8 pounds
Tein DBL adj aluminum suspension 46 pounds
Stock EVO suspension 64 pounds
DMS 50mm suspension, 58.2 pounds
EVO9 stock wheel 20.2 pounds
SSR 17x8.5 wheel w/Neova 245-45-17, 42 pounds
Megan Racing coilovers 41.8 pounds

I am sure I have some more but that's some of the best of it.

9sec9 - Something on your first post seems odd to me

Apexi N1..........................................$28.85 ..................................39 lbs(stock 64 lbs)

You say that you save 39lbs but I don't think that is accurate. Perhaps the coilvers weigh 39lbs (saving you a more realistic 25lbs)

Can you please confirm the apexi coilover weights.

I apologize if I miss read the chart.
