Boost creeping...a lot
I just PM'ed you a how-to on setting your WG's preload. I notice you plan on doing the Forge WGA. So, in that case, you should wait and set the preload once you've installed the Forge. Which BTW is a really good WGA unit.
First of all, thank you for everyone who posted in this thread and pm'd me in order to help with the creep problem. After going through every issue and making every adjustment possible it appears it came down to a hose attachment which wasn't sealing properly. All new reinforced hoses (which I had mentioned) were installed and then re-clamped with new clamps. Car is finally hitting and holding 20psi with the mbc turned all the way up. Now once I'm done in the office today I'll set the mbc to 23-24psi with my tune and life will be skippy.
THANK YOU ALL!
THANK YOU ALL!
after thinking the problem was solved, it magically reappeared a few days later. thinking it was the stock wga we replaced it with the forge unit which seemed to solve the problem...a day later the problem is back. i read somewhere something about the arm possibly hitting a heatshield so that's next on the list to check. lastly will be taking the turbo out adn putting the stock o2 housing back on to see if that resolves this blasted issue. kill me please
this is making me want an sti:P

well, same problem here. i've done some research, it leads me to conclusion this is our o2 housing. the wastegate passage there is smaller compared to stock, thats why there's creep.
does it appear in cold weather and when there's low backpressure (a full TBE)??
