IX also has this as standard. they probably had an aftermarket ecu and plug it in. pretty quick and easy.

There seems to be a pretty nasty amount of cars being stolen in chicago and the suburbs lately, mainly hondas but still, it sucks to hear about an Evo but at least you have gotten a replacement. Congrats on the X

The Integra has been the number #1 stolen car for so long I care not to reflect on it, I belive the Evo is going to slowly take over that spot within the next couple years.

Especially because not many Evo's are stock, so there's always an aftermarket part to rip off and sell or an entire 2.3 stroker motor. Big fat 3" N1 style mufflers hanging out the back are a dead giveaway that there is money to be made off of it.

just got my evo a 3 months back and i always think theres a chance there could get jacked..im going to look into an alarm system now for sure

anyone else have people ask for rides in their evos? i think thats a sure way to get car jacked so i always say im breaking in the clutch or my tires rub if theres more than 2 people in tha car
