Wow sorry to hear... I just bought my Evo December of last year and haven't got an alarm yet. *knock on wood* I'm using the club for now.

I just can't believe a 30-35k sports car doesn't come with factory alarms.

But GL with everything, hope you get your baby back soon.

obviously there good, two bangs then its gone! bybased the transponder completely i have a real nice autopage with tilt sensors, hood sensor, 3 blinding leds and 2 super high decibel in cabin sirens but after hearing that they got it this easy and quick im defenetly not convinced thats good enough. i am buying a lo jack and back up battery tonight.

i have statefarm as well and they are great with replacing aftermarket stuff! as long as you have good reciepts and can get a letter from the buisness owner of the shop (s) here work was done it should not be an issue.

as statefarms books say you are entitled to having the vehicle replace to pre loss condition.

This is just a mitsu nothing hard for professionals , the hardest things suposibly are new mercedes and believe it or not it happens to them too, if someone wants it bad enough they'll get it.

Good thing I live in Texas and know the penal code here for use of deadly force to protect property in and out.

Well finally got a settlement for my car. I owed like and with my mods and all I got a decent settlement. I think I am ok with the number. With all my bolt ons, my stroker motor, and all it isn't 100% covered by any means but it was a solid settlement.

BTW in case any of you did not know most auto insurance plans don't cover electronics such as laptops, gps systems, ipods, cell phones, or any related electronic accessories among most anything else lying around in your car that gets taken.

I had a gym bag with work out gear in it. Classified as "luggage and clothing" and only covers a max of $200.

I thought the car won't start with out the key sending a signal to the engine?
I think only the new Evo X has an immobilizer right?

The other Evos have Key/ECU immobilizers. That's about it in terms of security. Apparently not too hard to bypass.
