Should have ran him over, would have been worth it to replace the front bumper.

After reading this thread I just went out and bought a GPS Locator for my car.
After much research I went with the GPS-Snitch .

Let me say that this thing is awesome.
I have it hidden and hard wired into the car with the optional HW kit.

I'ts small, and about the size of a Razr cell phone.
It works as advertised, and so far my degree of error has been about 6 feet off.
Not bad if you ask me..
My 1000$+ Garmin GPS navigation in my JEEP is off more than that.

Best thing about it,
Is I can track it from my cell phone and arm/disarm from cell also, or from any PC also.
15$ a month is cheap for my peace of mind, knowing where my car is.

So thats my .02
Good Luck..

I doubt someone plugged a laptop and reflashed his ecu to disable his immoblizer. So that brings me to how the hell can they dissable it so easily? Is the transponder key really that worthless?

Also I think lowjack is a waist of money. I hear its pretty easy to build a device that causes interference and pretty much cripples the lowjack.

Garage doesn't always save you. I sold my Integra Type R to someone in detroit, and about a week later he called me up and told me he woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of his garage door and screeching tires. They stole the integra and a handful of expensive tools right out of his garage. 2 days later the chasis was found upside down in a ditch on fire. Never recovered any parts or caught anyone. Best thing you can do is have a fuel cutoff and a hidden switch that cuts off the starter.

it would be better for you if you did not get you car back! Joy riding is usually hard on the drivetrain
