. Now if I was normal driving the car and it did that, then you got all the right to say that, but if you haven't done at least 20 launches in one night in less then 30 min., for 3 days in one week, for 8 weeks on the stock clutch, then I don't want to hear anything. I have never smelled clutch from my car and after 21,000 miles my Exedy is still perfect
. Thanks
Yeah, we're with you Joe.
The stock clutch is definately crap.

Its hard to argue with someone that has no idea what they are talking about so we are done here.
as I have said before.. I wish I had never modified my car. It was fine with some simple mods and tuning, and the further I went, the less I drove it every day. Even though its still reliable and drivable, I would rather it be stock again.
FWIW I have nearly 50k on the STOCK CLUTCH, the car is making over 500whp on a fairly conservative tune (280 hks cams, GT35r turbo, bunch of other parts, STOCK ECU) The car has run numerous low 11 second passes driving the car easy (This was before the cams and 35r turbo)
Its all about driving style and understanding what kind of damage you can do with launch technique...
