i regret my cosworth cams. Benefit wasnt as good as how laggy it feels under low rpms. Doesnt drive as easy/smooth as it used to. I wish i would've spent the money on a meth kit instead. Would've noticed way better gains.

No regrets so far but I've just got my clutch done (ACT HD 6puck) and now it feels like I gotta let the clutch pedal up really slow at shifting otherwise I get this noticeable "boom"sound from my differential. My plan was to track my car once I put 500- 750 miles on this clutch. I gonna be afraid to do so.

  • Greddy Profec B II
  • TTP Tune
  • Snow Meth kit, controller failed, then pump.. That's basically the whole kit...
  • Having a local shop do my head
  • Having bought a car that now has a clutch that is so hard to push, by the time I get home my left leg is sore
  • installing meth, idle speed controller is gone, but meth is still fun

I'm sure there's more, but those are the ones I can think on top of my head

Get some 5mm spacers with some additional longer bolts with the match size and put them in, it will take care of your problem real fast.

My cost to fix the problem:

$5.00 and 1 hour of my time.

thanks a lot, ill go check it out. what part of the exhaust is it? Downpipe, or testpipe?

where could I pick up these parts and do you know dimensions of the bolts/part numbers that you used?

Greddy didn't hold boost like I wanted, the DC wouldn't change, but boost fluctuations were all over the place, I got fed up with it.

The TTP thing just didn't work out, I made more power else where..

did you change it out for another controller? and did that work better or was there a boost leak somewhere?

No need to change the controller, I knew it was that.... I switch to a different boost method and I spooled quicker, harder, held boost longer, made more boost so I wasted the money on the Profec. The ECU now controls my boost..
