Probably has been stated before (didn't read through all 59 pages), but lowering springs that weren't quite as low as I'd wished.

getting tein s-techs, just too low for the stock struts, they ride good but wear the struts out too quick. and also buying the cheaper parts rather then saving and getting the one o really wanted.

I'll trade you for my stock struts with Swift Spec-R springs. Lol

#1 modification regret was getting my MR Bilsteins revalved. Rode like total garbage over anything but a smooth road.

Not going to have any regrets on my Evolution! I come from a long line of modified DSM's, and once you reach a certain point it loses its fun. I would rather drive my slow stock Evo for hours through the mountains than my old 585 whp GSX for 15 mins. When you have to tinker with this, tune that, worrying about blowing up something and constantly working on a car its not fun anymore...or maybe I'm just getting old.

A couple dress up bits from Weapon R I was unsatisfied with, mostly because the welds weren't as beautiful as I would hope they would have been.

I got one of the ebay JDM rear poly replicas and I was sure it would not fit 100%, and I was fully prepared to work it out and I was able to get it lined up good. My issue was the getting it painted, I was going to do it myself but the wife did want the fumes around the baby, so I paid a shop that did a horrible job twice (painted the bottom half wrong and paint was spotty and wavy all over, second time around it was still spotty and wavy). big waste of $200 buck but its will do for now and only looks bad close up
Lucky the wife fully agreed to let me do it myself before the end of the year

first bad paint job

second

Letting Al of Dynoflash touch my car in '05. Mellon helped it a bit in '08 but she's nearly undriveable on the street. She's seen very few miles since. What he did for money to the ECU of this car should be a crime. Hoping to figure it all out with a decent tuner and a pristine, OEM ROM file from scratch soon.
