Biggest regret: putting a 3" exhaust on a my first 'bolt-on' Evo; it was obnoxiously loud and truly defeated the drivability of the car. Ended up putting my OEM back on for awhile after just two weeks.

Yah I had the same problem in some regards. I had a TurboXS full 3" on my VIII. It was so obnoxious. I couldn't stand it. I ended up getting an HKS Carbon that had an 18" resonator on it. It helped so much.

I'm only new to the evo world but have been around mitsi's for many years. Of all the parts i've bought so far my only regret is the simota aluminium intake pipe. One of the nipples fouls on the lower radiator pipe. Instead of returning the pipe i ground the nipple off (not using it anyway) and welded it up. Now the damn thing won't square up with the standard airbox and it's supposed to be a direct fit, plus i had to chop the bov hose to get that to fit and the bov is pushing up against the upper radiator hose which i am not happy about. Stay away from this product is my advice.

I regret buying the injen intake/intercooler piping setup....The LICP fitment onto the intercooler is not good...Had a boost leak due to the coupler slipping off the piping. So I purchased a AMS LICP and Intercooler, best decision I've made so far.

Agree!!! Had my ebay lip painted WW and the next week I hit a raccoon omw to work, I'm sure my lip took most the damage because it split in half also leaving my bumper scuffed up.

First was getting cams a few years ago (beginning of 2011) and now I regret buying the SS FP Red (end of 2015/ beginning of 2016).

Any specific reasons why?

Single scroll is a bit laggy, and pretty lazy off boost below 4500.

Cams were unnecessary and the single scroll is laggy as hell in my opinion. It has absolutely no pep when driving around. I came from stock turbo on e85 and that was a complete blast.

Pretty much every mod that the previous owner of my car had installed.
If I could pick one though, it was some eBay Powerbooster box that made the car run so terribly, gas mileage was terrible as well. As soon as it was taken out, my car drove ten times better and I could actually drive around for an hour without half of my tank being gone.
