Modification Regrets?
Installing the Voltex side skirts. Have to drive the car up on a board to fit a scissor jack under, then jack it up enough to get a floor jack in there. No Nascar speed tire changes now.
Oh did I mention what happens when the car rolls off the scales when setting it up?
You betcha! Crushed the fronts of both side skirts...

I've done some minor cosmetic exterior like Rally Armor mud flaps and Vortex generator. The only engine mod is an ECU flash at a place called TurboTrix in NJ, but I don't think they are around anymore. But I've never had a problem and I get 24 MPG on the highway. I'm a big beliver in KISS and can't go wrong.
90% of the people I know, personally, have all gone back to single disks. None of them really needed a twin, anyway. If you drive it on the street, twins are horrible.
In regards to an early post I made here: I pulled off my brand new FP Green that died...
I put the stock IX turbo back on and am enjoying the car more than I have in years. The car is so damned responsive and quick, it makes me giggle like a school girl. Yeah.. it will be working kinda hard at the track, but I do Time Attack and only need two laps max out of the thing...
I should have sold off the Green long ago. I'd be out a lot less money too.

I have a Comp Clutch sprung stage 4 clutch in my evo. I didn't think it was really that much more stiff than stock. I think it's a very daily friendly clutch especially considering it's a 6 puck, plus it handles back to back to back launches on radials without complaint. It's worlds lighter than the Clutch Masters 850 twin disk I had in another car.
No regrets to the mods I've made, but I do regret jumping in and modifying the car right away.
I should have spent some time learning to drive the car before modifying it. I spent a long time where the car outperformed me as a driver and I think it really hurt my progress in learning how to really drive the car competitively.
