Blox engine roll stop. Made my car shake like crazy. Didn't notice any real gain in shifting etc.

Regret getting a dynoflash mail in flash. Made the car run richer and gained zero power. Redeemed that mistake with an english racing dyno tune.

buying a Defi d AIR/Fuel ratio gauge so it could match my other gauges, however later on finding out its narrowband so it is completely useless.

clutch ftl, that is a hard decision because if you go single you may regret it but a twin is an investment. Also its a job to do a clutch versus other easy to switch parts -

My regret is not buying a package deal from burschur racing. My exhaust is to loud ( Espilier gt500), paid too much for boost gauge (Defi), an stupidly if I had any money at all I bought what ever I could afford ( Cusco under carriage braces). For all the money I spent just to make a half-*** car I could have had a full exhaust that is quiet, gauge and tune, and then nickel and dimed my car later. You live and learn.

Another regret is not waiting a couple months and buying a IX now I have to upgade the turbo, diverter valve, and add HIDs (already done and well worth it).

Body parts period.

Love C-West front end, but bumps suck and right now its cracked in half and all torn up.

Cheap install on a side skirt screwed me.

Rear bumper doesn't look right with my exhaust.

Luckily I still have stock skirts and rear, just feel like I wasted money if I put them back on.

You think it idles like **** now!?! Get some motormounts! That will make your whole car shake.

Did you put an intake on? I went back to stock cams myself. I sold my buschur racing BF 272 cams. It just wasn't for me. Sure I lost a bit of power in mid and top but I'd rather have a streetable smooth driving car than one that thinks it's a v8.

It sounds like you have an aftermarket intake on your car and that's why it's cutting out. Also check the vacuum line on the back of the intake manifold. But definitely sounds like an intake to me.

I dont regret getting it...but I regret letting a freind tune my AEM EMS. I should of done more research before I let him get ahold of. The EMS was sitting around for a month even before we installed it.

You can expect a little idle drop with aftermarket intakes (especially metal ones)... Just get a tweak on the tune to see if that helps

bump for a great thread and a question.

Is the stock cat on an VIII not going to back up too much with a 3" downpipe and catback?
