List of issues from the top:

1) Timing way off on the motor (Scott thankfully caught it before the more ate itself).
Which you have to pay Scott for to diagnose

2) Wrong bolts used on crank pully and Fluidampr FELL OFF on the road. THankfully I was at a stoplight
4 cheap *** bolts that you can find on the used parts bins.... after seeing this, I'm like **** that, gotta make sure I have ARP everywhere.

3) Built Transfercase started deathwhine. Blamed on more power, more then likely improper fill
Incompetent?

4) Head lifted......possibly due to not torquing down to spec (or not over torqued).
Possibly from the overheating issue when your brand new fluidampr FELL off the car.
AND STILL MANAGED TO PUT IT BACK ON THE CAR AFTERWARDS WITH ALL THE SCRATCHES

5) Triple Carbon clutch ate itself due improper assembly or improper install (Carbonetics words not mine)
More like it exploded!!!

6) New Quartermaster flywheel ate the starter while warping 200 miles into new install
Oh yeah, new flywheel and starter to replaced within 200 miles. GREAT!!

7) Bell housing cracked from motor grenading originally and missed by said original shop so transmission was coming off block

8) Just found out from Shep that the following needs to be replaced: New Bell Housing, 1st gear, 2nd gear, 1st gearset, 1-2 hub and 3-4 hub, all syncros and sliders and input shaft. Basically an entire rebuild (Its a previously built Shep trans).
.... twisted input shaft, im speechless...

Thats all of the top of my head. I'm pretty much at the end of my rope with this car because of all the crap thats happened beyond my control.

All total because of one shops incompetence I have spent an extra 10k and I haven't driven the car for more then a few weeks with no issues. Hopefully this is it but if something major happens again there will be a fire sale and I will either rebuild and sell, throw a stock motor and setup in there and sell or part it completely out and wait until I can afford to buy a GTR.

No fire sale homie, I will probably ask you to tow your car to my house so I can keep it... until you calm down. haha

I feel bad for you bro, I am even more pissed at the situation than you. You're just too nice. Sucks that you have to spend your hard earn money for ****ups time after time. Your car will be basically brand spanking new except for the shell after said and done. Swapped every friggin thing out, just like my build. Now we on the same page lol.

I didn't think I'd have to buy another transmission, transfercase, clutch, 2 flywheels and a starter due to major screw ups. oh well.

Not getting the Exedy twin plate adjusted when I bought my car with it already on. I didn't know any better and when I took the tranny out and sent it to ShepTrans the throwout bearing was welded to it... needed a whole new clutch.

Getting my tranny, t/c and rear diff built by Shep... They're fantastic and way better/stronger than stock, but not legal for Super Production class in Rally America. So I need to swap them for a stock 5-speed, RS t/c and stock rear diff. Could've saved money and time just doing that in the first place.

TurboXS intercooler piping. It works fine, but, once again, is not RA SP legal.

Going through so many wheels before I settled on my Braid Winrace tarmac wheels. These are awesome and I can't wait to install them!

Got the ETS FMIC without the Garrent 3.8" core. Am told this could have cost me a few horsepower.

Failed to get the Perrin intake. Am told this could have cost me a few horsepower.

That's it for now.

Choose parts wisely and you won't have a problem
Or be realistic on goals you want with the car and building to that goal. Taking care of a 700whp Evo is no joke and does cost money.

Cheap, fast, reliable.

You can only pick two. That's how it works
