Modification Regrets?
1. This isn't really a part issue but I definitely regret not putting more consideration into doing a turbo swap the first time I realized my car had an exhaust leak at the manifold.
1a. Also regret not taking the car to an Evo shop to have the leak fixed as I'm sure a real Evo shop would have better advised me on swapping turbos and probably also noticed some of the other issues the car had.
2. Allowing some no-name shop to tune the car (with the above exhaust leak I might add). I was very new to the car and didn't know how bad that exhaust leak was affecting performance. I would think a reputable shop would have suggested fixing the leak(s) before tuning it.
3. This one will probably make some people mad but it's the truth for me... Stock metal IX BOVs. I tried two of them actually (one that I bought new) and neither one held boost or had the drivability of my Synapse.

I regret spending $5K for an extra 55HP and 0TQ. HA! Bigger turbo, ported intake mani, ported tb, cams/springs/retainers, tune, and lots of other non-HP adding parts.
I think my stock exhaust mani is holding me back.

Poly bushings. To give you an idea of the sound, look on YouTube for whining tcase videos. I was actually worried that something broke since most places that sell the bushings don't say anything about them making the rear end whine.
It's too bad about the noise, they firm up the rear pretty well. FYI the mustache bar swap is strictly for weight reduction.
