Anyways I currently don't have an Evo, but my biggest regret is buying a 2007 TL TYPE S instead of an Evo at the time. I was just really pissed when Mitsubishi wouldn't let me test drive it so I went to Acura. If I'm going to spend 30+ on a car I want to see how it feels. I would have definitley bought one. Anyway three years have gone by with the TL and I'm finally over my gripe with Mitsubishi. Evo for 2010...

 

You gotta be stern with them. Of course they won't make you pay for a car before test driving it. But you usually have to work a deal before you do. You'll like the X more than the IX anyways

 

The parts i regret having on my car is..... hks 272 cams but i wish i had the fp5r set.....megan o2 housing but i will be getting the shearer o2 dump instead.....forge boost controller and bov which i will be replacing with tial recirculating bov and hopefully hks ebc...ummm i think thats about it.

I regret not buying all out Buschur or AMS stuff.

 

Installed mine myself...Never ever been locked out in any rpm

 

My only kinda regret is getting a custom open dump o2 housing. It sounds mean as hell when i want it to but sometimes when im trying to just speed up on the freeway or gain some speed, that thing will start screaming like a mug. I miss being quiet and punching it haha.

 

Why don't you like the HKS 272's? There a good cam depending on your setup and how much you paid for them.
