I regret not getting a whole tbe installed and just going for a catback. dumb move, but I was concerned about noise and wanted to do it in increments. Now I have to get re-tuned for a full tbe, but at least I'll be throwing on a few more mods.

 

No need to post more detail...look at my sig...during my 1/4 run with Kreionic's "tune" my 60 ft and 1/8 mile were 2 tenths faster but my 1/4 was the same MPH and only a tenth faster then TTP's tune with all those mods added?? Come on...plus if you knew Charlie like i do you would know why...Hes neither an amazing "tuner" or an amazing friend...

Cheap front rotors from a shop that talked me into them, had them resurfaced twice in 6 months and they still pulse. Ironically my original rotor 'problem' was actually a bolt in the rear tire that I discovered after the new rotors were on. Will have to replace them again soon.

 

i actually know charlie very well...

so your blaming your times on a tune? maybe you should look somewhere else. like a boost leak or something along those lines considering they are VERY common in these cars. i mean charlie has tuned more evos then you've probably seen and i have yet to hear of any complaints other then yours...so like i said before, why dont you look somewhere else for your problem then bashing a guys name like that.

i mean your motor is still together so that shows the tune couldnt of been that bad. maybe he likes to tune on the conservative side so he keeps your car safe. cause we all know if he didnt, you would be making a topic called Kreionic blew up my car...

 

also how much faster where you expecting to get on those mods you listed? i mean all that stuff listed is very minor mods imo... your not gonna pick up a lot of power or anything

 

I'm glad u know him well...me too(well i thought i did at least)...he was my roommate...My car was gone over very thoroughly before my last 2 track visits...I highly doubt he has "tuned" more evos then I have ever seen...haha...You don't know who I am and I don't know who you are so i don't need to explain sh*t to you...everyone is entitled to their own options...Thats all I have to say...ill let you get back to swinging from Charlie's nuts...

 

Those mods...2psi more and retune should net me more then a tenth in the 1/4...but u should know that right...

No regrets, I got a lot off good deals on used parts here on the forum. Also Sean Ivey does awesome clutch work. Ets and their intercooler kit is good as well. I got some used GSC cams from TTP they had pretty good shipping/communication.
