Modification Regrets?
What size turbo? Im on a 35r, and yes it may not be the best for autox, but perfectly fine for street. I do get great mileage with it, and i love how it sucks you back to the seat.
I personally hate the maintenance on my CF parts on the car (clear coat oxidation) since i have no garage, and resand/re-clear this stuff every year ;(

I am very tempted to add my g'damn QuarterMaster 8Leg to this list. There is NO WAY to drive this summa***** normally without looking like I have no clue how to drive standard or wheel hopping like mad.
SO AGGRAVATING.

For me i would have to say. Torque Solution motor mounts and Exedy Triple. Makes the clutch that much noisier. Not to mention the cams add to the noise. All the parts are great but i dont recommend for DD what so ever.
Exedy twin and ksport coilover. I recently bought a quartermaster clutch to replace the exedy twin, feels way better, and does not slip like the exedy twin hd - rebuilding it almost every 10-12k miles was not fun either.
I regret not reading this thread 40k miles ago! Great idea to start it! At this point i don't regret mods i made, only those i spent the money on and not installed yet. That'll change soon though :-D

Autometer lower console gauge pod

It fits fine, but it places the gauges awfully close to your knuckles for the 2-3 and 4-5 shifts.
I swapped it for the 42 Draft Designs one. Other than that, no modification regrets.

I regret ever modifying my car in the first place... the driveability is so much worse than stock.
You really have to look at where you are in your life though. If you don't mind the way a modded car drives then go for it... I guess I'm just venting, but I really think that cars should be kept stock. I'll probably going back to stock soon... even though I really want to build the car up. Maybe one day I'll own a 1000 horsepower evo

Wow...this is one of the most eye opening threads I've ever seen......now all the for sale threads with certain items listed so cheap, make sense.......I think I'm going to start a trend (If not already done) called Factory/Stock/Clean FSC....very glad I came across this thread & OP kudos for starting it... saved me & likely tons of other people countless wasted dollars in unnecessary mods..
