Simply adjust the clutch engagement properly. 95% of ACT clutch lockout issues seem to be user's incorrectly adjusting clutch engagement and the other 5% seem to be installation error or actual oddball MFG defects...

I've had an ACT XD 2900 for the last 20k and rev to 8k sometimes, and I've never had a lockout.. But then again I make well below 400/400..

--- But worst mod for me, was the Masterkit polyurethane bushings by ES. Because they took forever to install!! Longer than a clutch install ! Haha but the results were great

I don't have lockout, but sometimes it's hard to shift to second at 7k plus rpm, any how to on proper adjustment? any tips?

Trying not to regret any mods. I will admit I change my mind CONSTANTLY (female problems)... lol but I just want to avoid making mistakes like I did when building my VR4. (now sold thank god) I have good deals on 18" AND 17" wheels and some rare ones too. I don't want to put 18's on my VIII but the one set is rare so I am stuck. ahhh

You wont regret it throw some 18" wheels they will look much better and if you don't you can always put the wheels your running now back on.

I said this once before but i need to say it again, my biggest Mod Regret is the Prostort gauges.
I had 3 from my RX8 (oil temp, oil pressure, water temp) the oil pressure gauge I had fix 2 times and I bought AF, and boost when I got the evo. its been a little over a year and the AF gauge quit before christmas and now 2 days ago the boost gauge stopped work right and started flashing. I started with 5 now i got 1 (the water temp) is the only one that works. Now i need at lest a boost gauge.

Better track tire selection in 18" though.

Going too high on the spring rates. 9,11 is just too much for Michigan roads. Also too loud of an exhaust. I think this year will be spent just making the car more livable everyday.
