help: check engine light from bung??

so i was gonna install my test pipe last weekend but then i realized i needed some longer bolts & nuts, cuz the cat was already threaded. the test pipe wasn't.

anyway, i decided to leave the bung i installed for the o2 sensor still in the exhaust, with the stock cat still in, till i get the right hardware. now i got a check engine light. is this normal? will it go away once i get the test pipe in?

under the hood fuse panel has 2 fuses for the ecm. one is 20amp and one is a 15 i believe. pull both of them out for 10sec and the light will clear and your ecm will be reset.

The code was most likely a "flow" code due to the bung being in place. It will come on again until you put the test pipe in.
