How many of you are tired of seeing/hearing about beaten on Evo's?
i'm only 19 and i baby the **** outta this thing, the only time i've really "beaten on it" was early last week, they had a track plowed out on the lake and we were driving around on that, it was for 4 wheeler races so it was a little narrow but we were rallying around a little, i came in a little hot and hit the snowbank 
even though it was snow i still cringed, got out and look and cracked the plastic under the car, i still felt sick after that and havent even hit 1 pound of boost since, i've kinda slacked on the washing too, its been to warm up here in mn (about 30*) these passed like 4 days so it got just nasty dirty and i'm waiting for it to get colder so the roads arent nasty, i try and take very good care of the car as best i can, i just cant justify beating on something this expensive, my civic was another story, hell sometimes i even just eat ramen noodles instead of good food or skip a few meals so i can save up for something the car needs(or i think it needs :P), its kinda sad that i put it first but hey, i love it! i think i need a councilor :/ haha jk

i didnt buy my evo to baby it! i bought mine to run it through its paces and beat on it... i dont feel bad for it..and its taken everything ive given it in stride! its an amazing machine that doesnt want some sourpuss driving it... it begs to be driven hard!
i do all the regular maintenance on it, and keep it in tip top shape, but i track it every month, take it in the canyons, and open her up whenever i see a safe spot to do so........i push her to redline at least once a day.... so sue me

i say more power to these idiots. it's called job security for all those dealer/ autoparts store employees. maybe more idiotic floggers should own evos. the mere demand for parts would drive the prices of parts down, and just might be able to get us out of this recession. granted there are enough of them.
