Car Dealership Fraud?
i heard someone say lemon law.
not sure how the laws are in NJ but in california, baisically after you sign that contract and unless you purchase the 500 cancellation contract you own that vehicle. period.
and there is no Lemon Law on pre-owned vehicles.
like i said, this is for cali, not sure about anywhere else, but check your local laws.

Fraud is hard to prove. You would need to have the carfax report for which the original owner advised of, as well as the one you have, also you have to prove intent to cause fraud which is the hardest part.
Carfax reports don't mean anything. Run the vin through the DMV for accident history.
The only one who will will on this is the attorney. I would call it a loss, and move on unless you have a lot a cash to pay an attorney to go to trial on the case.

You could go after the dealer for dealer fraud. You need to still have the original car fax they gave you. You can tell them to run the carfax again for you and see if it shows clean. Somehow you need to get a copy of the clean carfax. If you can't then its not worth while because its hearsay. If you get a clean carfax or you have the original go to an attorney with it and say here is what I have, here is my story, what can you do for me? Good luck!
Unless you have the original carafax they showed you that says it had a clean carfax, and comes up with accidents now, or in the contract it states the vehicle has never been in any accidents then your pretty much screwed, sorry bro. I hope you have the carfax they showed you when you bought it still, however knowing how sleezy some stealerships are, i doubt they gave you a copy, and i can almost guarantee there is nothing in the paperwork stating the car was accident free. talk to a lawyer, its free, they only charge if you continue on and actually persue civil action against the dealership, plus they will be a million times more helpfull than the 'i heard....' the 'in xx state....' or 'i know a guy who...'
as others have stated unless you have the original carfax stating that it was accident free you're going to lose. The dealership is a llc and probably has an attorney on retainer and can keep it going a lot longer than the average joe
Yeah if you can get the original car fax you would be in business! Try to contact carfax internally and see when the dealership pulled the carfax for that car, or if maybe the original owner did before he wrecked the car. I wish you the best of luck!
dude if you got another car and $500 for your deductible, drive the car into the showroom and crash into as much as you can. Try and total out the car and cause as much chaos as possible. Then get out and say oops. lol your out $500 haha
