Not 100%, but pretty sure. I think EBD requires ABS, since they share a number of the same parts.

 

EBD controls brake bias front and rear. It is a seperate system from ABS. Without it, there would have to be some mechanical arrangement.

 

cool im planning to get a RS in march. Do u think they'll stick have them around? I want a RS b/c of the LSD and the price. I dont car for power windows when i have AC, power locks ehh its im fine w/o it. I got one more question, someone mentioned that the car is wired up for a radio is that true? (sorry for the newbie questions) thanks!

 

I have seen 2 RS at Torrance Mitsubishi in SoCal. Both white. They sold the first one a couple of weeks ago. Not sure if they still have the second one, it was there last week. Big markup on MSRP on window sticker (like $5000 - 6000), but I think it can be negotiated way lower.

 

Yes, but I don't think it's a separate system. EBD is a feature of the modern ABS. I have not seen EBD equipped cars without ABS.

I just connected a stock radio (bought it on this site $50) to my RS, the speakers are wired, they are duct taped down under the speaker covers. It's wired.

 

Just bust their ***** about the lack of power windows/locks. I paid $500 under invoice for mine, the dealers don't even know about the front LSD half the time.

I'm gonna try and add power windows myself. The front, I THINK, is wired for them. I know the rear is not, same as for the locks, there are NO wires going into the rear doors....
