Rotas are good wheels.

Volk/advan are great wheels.

I'd buy and use them both, I bought my volks. Used so I got a good deal on them. I can't see myself going from volks to rotas tho.

been racing rota rims for the past 6 years, and all i can say is there the best for the price, never bent or cracked on a race, well for me racing is the ultimate bench mark.

Rotas are fine. Everyone I know who has them hasn't had one single problem with them.

Rotas are not nearly as bad as some people make them out to be, I run them usually for street duty and keep the more expensive wheels for track use. Even on michigan roads, I've yet to crack or bend a rota, so IMO, they're great for the money.

While most serious track drivers would used quality forged wheels, the Rota's do offer SUPERB value. I'm thinking about getting a set to use for the track, but thats because I can't currently afford $3k for forged wheels

Rotas are ok. I think of them as the best quality knockoffs.

Now that spring is near, I'm wondering which direction people ended up going? Me personally, I ended up getting a 2nd set of bbs mr rims on summers just in case and I am still contemplating on my 18" set.

From what I gather reading everyone's comments, Rota's are the best bang for your buck in terms of looks/quality, and the only people who will really care is the JDM purists.

...and, those of us who value low rotational mass before most other attributes, when buying wheels.

Personally, I would never run Rotas on any car I own. I'd rather go for some quality forged wheels. Of course you will pay $$$, but you get what you pay for.

Yea for real. I'd have to say that for the track/autox hell any HPDE don't think you can't really go wrong with the stock Enkies or better yet BBS's with proper tires

I would run Rota's but I also can't justify spending a ton of money on wheels. For a track only car and if I had a ton of money I'd run something else, but for a daily driver Rota's are more than fine! I've never heard any bad stories from my buddies that run them.

Agreed, but I don't intend to track my car at all, so I can't see this being something people look for that DD/have garage queens.
