Also has a TSB for the door handle linkage on the inside of the door, they put in felt lining behind it to stop it from bumping the metal shell of the door. At least they addressed all my issues, the dealer has been great.

Latecomer to the post and not going to read 11 pages sorry, but if anyone is getting the A pillar rattle I was getting the same thing.
It was because the A pillar is held in top and bottom but it also has 3 metal clips that go down the length of it. These 3 clips were off, and it was making the A pillar rattle. To fix it pull off the A pillar, get some needle nose pliers, pull the three metal clips off. Now attach them back on the A pillar where they are supposed to be and push the A pillar back on and the rattle should be gone. The problem occurs because someone would have pulled off the A pillar in the past and not replaced the clips properly.
Cheers

Passenger side door panel sounds like a mouse SKWEEEEEK!
Issokay tho'
What with the Yoko ADVANS howling ,
Turbo whine,
I just turn up the tunes.
If I wanted a quiet car....
I woulda bought a Lincoln T/C.
And pulled into the garage,
and left the engine on,
and closed the garage door.
Eternal quiet.............
If youve never been in a RS, you havent heard s#it.
Ive ridden quieter motorcycles.
on the freeway.
With no helmet.
@ 80 mph
Think Ill go for a drive.
Luv this car

i have this rattle noise and it sounds like it coming from in the dash/firewall. it only happens when i'm in neutral and coasting at 5mph. could it be the transfer case...suspension...steering? its bugging the hell out of me and i only have 14k miles on my ix mr.
Got the same one...but it only occurs on bumps and rough terrain. Anyone know how to remove the a-pillars?
