If it's a styrofoam cooler type squeak coming from the lower dash area and you are going crazy, try what I just did. I went to the car wash and sprayed the rack and pinion area along the firewall (lightly). The noise went away until the car dried.
I had washed it in the past and the squeak was noticable before I tried wetting the R&P.
The next time it's in the air I'm going to try spraying the bushings with silicone and see if the damned squeaks go away.
I have an 06 MR and have had quite a few interior trim pieces off, one at a time, trying to find this particular squeak. It's not inside. Turning the radio up seems to make it less noticable. Go figure.

so, after trying to search out results for squeaks, I'm still on the lookout for help.
anyone have any help on:
the rear window/speaker deck making a aluminum sheet twang?
far left side of driver side dash by driver door?
The rear deck hum/vibration seems to resonate at a certain rpm range.
Thanks

Aside from the typical valve noise, the walbro whine, and that clunk the shifter makes (loud), the only noise I have that I cant explain, is coming from under the cam gear cover. I've taken the cover off, and dont see anything out of the ordinary. The noise is loudest before the car is warm.

i got some weird metal rattling noise that sounds like its coming from in front of the passenger seat like at the tire or something but its been like that for well over a year. it pretty much just happens when i go from a stand still and make a right or left turn. anyone know what it could be or if i have anything to worry about? thanks in advance.

I have this! I'm not entirely sure when it started, fairly recently, but I'm getting a new windshield soon so I plan on taking care of it then and there. I think it's possible it could be some sort of plastic clip rubbing or something along those lines. It's really random for me though.

A squeak like two styrofoam pieces rubbing against each other every time I go over a bump - I would think it's suspension but i swear it's coming from the inside. It sounds like it's coming from directly in front of me, inside the dash somewhere.
help! who takes care of this? where is this noise coming from!!
