Boy racer car check....i like my evo for its performance

 

I keep my evo low profile, especially the exhaust (straight 3" and quiet as stock), no problems here.

 

What 3 inch do you have that's as quiet as stock?

 

I do 9-10 over mostvof the the time. Im stock on outside. And pretty quiet.............. But just my car being Lightning Yellow is enough to be hassled twice a month. I have no tint, they just be like I noticed that you acceled pretty quickly(which I dont) or my favorite is you LOOKED to be going pretty fast back thrre. LMAO!!!! Never get a ticket. Jist annoying! I did say one time, how did it look? The cop chuckled and lemme go without any more questions. Thisiwas in TX/GA.

 

I will admit to driving like an ******* on dead quiet streets once in a while. We own performance cars and MOST of us are young. Sorry in advance for all the women in disquise who have a problem with that.

Aside from that though I'm very cautious with my car. Know when to and when NOT to do things. I enjoy my car, I keep it clean and Its an RS which = no wing and that helps a lot.

 

I've had my car about 8 months now and have had no issues. I won't say I haven't gotten on the car, but for the most part I just drive normal. I drive by cops all the time, especially late at night coming home from meets and I never get hassled. Half the time the cops just wave and I go on my way.

 

I had a RS-R GT II exhaust for about a year and got pulled over at least 2-3 times per week. Put a roof rack on and switched to a RRE stealth and haven't pulled over yet since. knock on wood.

 

cops try to pull me over all the time.. i drive quiet and slow and they still seem to stalk me for over a mile.... im not really sure why

 

I haven't had any trouble with cops. Mine is even red. Maybe it's how you drive it.

Some people just seem to be unlucky

 

The only trouble I had with police in my Evo was driving back home from the place I bought it. Temp license taped to tinted rear window at night. Quick check of the papers and I was off with a "pretty cool car". Canadian police are sweet!

 

Aren't there cops on here that we can ask?

 

Good point, maybe profiling is secret police business.

 

full greddy titanium has gotten me pulled over once. It's definitely a combination of both. also depends on the public servicemen in your area though, for sure..
