Im in northern cali and ive only been pulled over once in 15k miles. I deserved it that once(sideways through three lanes of traffic on wet road showing off for brides maids in the car.) Besides that just drive slow in town. If you get caught speeding on highways wave or nod and slow down. Buy an escort 9500 for the freeway. Use your head and you will rarely, but sometimes, get pulled over.

Removed the spoiler and put quite exhaust, Removed all the Emblem, chopped of the nose, power coated my brakes black and it seems no more attention from anybody.

I had to do that to avoid headaches and problems.

So you basically had to make your car look pedestrian in order to enjoy it without harassment.
Damn dude I was all set to go off on the communist state of California until I saw that you live in my home province.

They probably harass you because they think its a Honda. Since there were no Evo 8 or 9's there officially.

I'll e driving down sometime next year.......looking forward to be being generally harassed. So awesome.

That friggen sucks

My car is a cop magnet. I live in South Texas so its all hotrods so any import that looks different from a stock honda gets profiled. Got pulled over 3 blocks from my home the day I first purchased the car and I was driving it back. About 5 times since this past march for "license plate" in my window.

thats with me putting about 3k miles on it since march ... sigh

Reading a lot of these I feel very fortunate.
Granted I am wingless so I think that helps but I also do not think cops where I like know what the car is. They must see it as a 4 door moms car with a fart can, because I NEVER get followed or looked at?? Even when they sit next to me and the thing is just camming out, they don't even look over.

Everyone is right!!! ^^^^^^ I got pulled over twice on different evos for different poop! First was I had an MR badge on my grille and I was behind a cop and apparently the son was shining and MR badge was blinking red? Yeah that's what officer said!!! 2nd I was on my white Mr and crossed the lines into coming traffic just over the yellow line and guess who comes out the corner (police) yes so he bust a uvi, I didn't see well couldn't see cuz it was over the corner other wise I would have ran i lived like a block away! Now I have 2 more evos and haven't got stopped yet! Folsom, CA cops are really leanian u don't brake laws they don't care how your car looks or what it is, but if you do something stupid (drift during the day) then they will write you up for every little thing they can!!! Lol

Its in the situation, I avoided 4 different stops by chp goin over 80 on the freeway today if the cop is stopped, learn to slow down without braking, sudden brake lights and front end nose dive means oops pull me over......u dont wanna get hassled know your surroundings first. N before you question my experience....how many of you unintentionally outran a police copter and get pulled over cited for a 115 in a 65 and won with the cop dismissing the case.....due to lack of evidence.....among other tickets so my record is prolly the longest in here....haha not bragging just stating, if your cars too loud invest in a muffler or resonator to quiet it down. But you can be unlucky n get that dick cop, yes sir no sir n dont be intimidated, they enjoy that. Good luck.

im about to take my wing off my 9, possibly even my X if I get a doluck deck lid.

received two tickets in October for alleged speeding. One was lowered to a no-front plate, the other im taking to court. I was following the speed limit on both occasions - tuning spoolup on the second.

going lo-pro seems to be key

Cops have always left me alone. I guess if a 24 year old can afford a $20+k car, then they don't seem like they're up to no good.

I noticed when I have my wing on it attracts the cops more then when it's off.
