Are cops attracted to the average Evo or average Evo driver?

Stealth exhaust, wingless, red tails.

As far as the cops are concerned I'm somebody's mom in her Corolla.

I don't EVER drive slow, my DD is a senior citizen cruiser for a reason, but I bought an Evo a few weeks ago and was driving home and got my first speeding ticket in probably a dozen years (80 in a 70...). For an Evo its pretty low profile (wingless silver).

I blame the spoiler. Same reason why STIs get alot of attention. After removing the spoiler I noticed less attention because it makes the car just look like a normal car.

The car itself shouldn't attract attention to police. I believe it's a matter of the individual officer to pull a person over for whatever violation. Watch your speed and use your signals.

Thats funny, I did a wot pull right onto the highway, saw a cop behind me and slowed way back down to the speed limit right before I merged onto the freeway.. All he did was pass by me like I did nothing

I put two wheels on the curb to avoid a stopped/stalled car in a busy street. I minute later I was parked and had a trooper outside my car door screaming and all red in the face. So, I thought is this cop theater or is the guy about to have a coronary. Do cops watch too many cop shows?

It's the wing. Loose the wing and loose the excess attention.

My first mod was the wingectomy, and I've never regretted it.

Even though my VIII is pretty loud, I've never attracted LEO attention.

However, I am 61 years old, so pulling over some kid's grandpa prolly gets no points down at the station house!

IF you drive a Prius or the last model Chevy Malibu....Have you seen this Malibu commercial? This wouldn't happen if they were in an Evo. LOL

BUT we don't...we drive an Evo. Cops tend to associate Evos behaving recklessly, speeding, racing, etc....with younger kids....case in point I got pulled over doing exactly what the member a few posts up from me did...I did a WOT pull on to the highway in front of a cop (timing was perfect - I slid right in front of him as I was flooring it.... ....unintentional of course). I slowed down and got pulled over. After a brief tongue lashing he asked for my papers and after looking at my DL info, he said, "At your age you shouldn't be pulling this kinda crap on public roads and especially right in front of me..." Told him how I didn't see him and how I slowed down right away after seeing his patrol car behind me...He went to his patrol car and did what they always do and then he came back and said to slow down and he thought I was some 'punk *** kid' driving. NOT a 39 year old...LOL...Now, I don't consider myself 'old' per see and I do look younger than my age but it goes to show you how stereotypical cops can be when it comes to hot imports or domestics currently popular with kids these days and their assumption someone 'young & irresponsible' is behind the wheel.

That commercial cracks me up!

Wingless, badge-less, red tails no tint. Test pipe quiet exhaust unless wot. last inspected may 2011 . I drive everywhere in the tri- state been pulled over once riding in the HOV officer didn't even look at inspection, first thing he did was look to see if i had a front plate on the car. Got off with a warning. Could be a combination of low key looks and not to much in town driving, I'm on the highway a lot when I'm in my evo as well as its not a DD. In town low revs and high gear keeps it quiet. I never wear a baseball cap when Im driving either< i think its my own superstition.

Nice, and yea they def profile. The look on the cops face was mildly amusing when he walked up on a female driver... He could tell I was pissed for pulling me over
