Are cops attracted to the average Evo or average Evo driver?
Nope its all in your demeanor while driving, look like a jackass drive like a jackass youll get messed with.... Theres been days I get looks from cops, Hell yesturday around the corner from my house was a big car accident n the road around the corner was blocked off at a traffic light, so i had to pass 6 bike cops directing trafficon deposite side of street. So waiting for my turn 3 cops are in the middle of the street Maybe 3 ft from my car and mine is far from stock s2 cams full tbe.. Lookin starin me down I just nod and kept on drivin. I think its all in the cops attitude....but hey each situation is different. So just dont look suspicious, whenever I see them in traffic behind me etc, I put on music and start dancin n singin in my seat. Works most of the time....
Wow its honestly really sad what some of you guys do just to stay out of the cops radar. I've had my evo for about 14 to 15 months and I have yet to get pulled over. Now granted, I do own a radar detector that has probably saved my *** a time or two. But, taking off the spoiler and blacking out the brake calipers? Come on now, don't let a few bored pigs ruin your day. Continually pulling someone over for bogus reasons is harassment, and is against police protocol. It actually got one of the local officers around my area fired a few years back. This is not **** Germany...yet.

No issues in the year I've owned my evo. Tinted windows, exhaust (pretty tame), slightly lowered, stock wheels etc. I drive the speed limit, use my turn signals etc. I pass cops, ride beside cops etc and never been pulled. I do catch them giving me the eye at times passing the other direction but I'm not doing anything wrong. I've mellowed out a lot over the years from my early 20's when all I cared about was big turbos, excessive speed and loud cars. Had my fair share of reckless tickets, suspended liscense and even spent a day in jail. Judge told me next time I see you in here, I'll lock you up for a several weeks rather than a day. Had a cop resting his hand on his gun when he pulled me over screaming shut the car off, shut the car off. Learned real quick after those lessons, It's not worth it, expensive and pretty immature/stupid of myself. I'll be 30 in December and driving like a madman on the streets is just silly to me. Clean record and no tickets for roughly 6+ years now. I enjoy my $60 a month full coverage premium on the evo and plan to keep it that way

Most of the time if you are driving normally a cop wont pull you over, in the 6 months i have had my evo i have been driving without a front license plate (required in jersey), out of state inspection, tinted windows, exhaust etc.. Ive only been pulled over once for the license plate, so generally i dont see an evo as being such a cop magnet
Virgina Beach here:
I've been hit by three tickets, so I guess there's a luck factor. My luck isn't so well this year. All exhaust issues or "Improper Exhaust"....sucks for me. Evo 10 gsr. And I wasn't driving around like a D_bag either. On none of the times.

I've been pulled over once while driving across the country. I was doing 75 in a 65
(The speed limit was 75 but it changed to 65 and I didn't see the sign.)
But other than that the cops don't bother me.

Not true. I used to get pulled over all the time and they ask where am I headed to. Then they let me go or ask some silly questions and then let me go. Happened all the time when I had the wing on. I even had one test the window tint, then let me go. I don't drive like a d-bag, just the opposite. I drive like a grandpa.

I am 41, have only owned my Evo for about six months. My car is loud, but I don't drive like a jerk, and in the city I drive like a grandpa.
I have driven it from Denver to Michigan and so far been pulled over only once, for forgetting to turn my lights on.
Cop let me off with a warning.
