Yep! try to pm Adam from Z1 , I think he can still hook you up with the VII tails for those people who backed out he might work it out to give you a spot . And while you're at it ask for the uk EVO VIII badge and slapp to that ***....

I really dont think the oem tailights are that bad, especially on a black EVO.

Besides If I am going to spend any money on parts it definitely will be going towards a dynoflash, exhaust, short shifter, boost gauge and a new head unit.

Congrats.
I lurk currently because I haven't sold my hybrid yet and I'm not really close to getting a EVo yet.

I test drove one and even though I wasn't that happy with a few things I have been on here long enough to know its potential. A lot of people are trying to talk me into a Neon SRT-4 but I know what I want and I look forward to proving the nay sayers wrong about the cars performance.

Enjoy man. Hopefully after i get into a housei n the summer next year I'll be posting one of my own: "About to pick up my EVO" posts.

It looks really good. Is it hard to keep up the paint on a black car. I heard that black shows swurl marks from waxing.

Hey is it hard to keep up the paint job on a black car. I heard that when you wax black cars you leave visable swurl marks. What can you do to avoid this.

Black is a pain in the *** however when your buying a used car you can't be too picky on the color. I would have prefered Silver or Blue but Black looks awesome when its clean.

As far as the Neon SRT4 is concerned I drove one and came back pretty unimpressed. All that power doesnt get to the ground that well, and the interior was really cheap. Besides all the local dealer to me are not coming off sticker which is around $22k. So for $1,500 more I bought a used EVO w/4k miles that is significantly better than the SRT4 in every respect.

I am on long island too and I think I saw that car in newsday classifieds. Is that where you got it?
