Same here...I originally wanted silver, but as soon as I saw the black one at the dealer, I knew there was no other choice...yep, it can be a pain to keep it clean, but damn, when it's all clean and polished up, it looks so SWEEEEET!!!

Evo color desirability scale based on personal preference:

Yellow / Blue tie
Silver / Black tie
White / Red tie

 

i used to own a yellow integra type R it was my favorite car in the world but it got me pulled over 6 times in a year and got stolen 2 times id say go with the silver,and if thats what u want, i work at puente hills mitsu, 3 silvers all with interior package and carbonfiber wing, 1 with sunroof too

 

You'd be suprised how many looks silver will get you. Yes, yellow will get more but you might want to think twice if all the cop and thief attention is worth it. Especially with the car's design it will attract ALOT of cop and thief attention.

I would like to see your review of your 2 cars, the s2000 and the evo when you get some drive time with the evo.

The S2000 is a cool looking car and a drop top is awsome,,,, if I fit into a s2000 I would more than likely be driving one today!!!

I agree. I was 1 inch away from buying the S2000 at the time I bought the Evo. Very tough decision at the time.

This is Evil EVO's wife. I am the one with teh S2K. Let me just say this. I finally took the EVO for a spin and wow.....I told him I would be dissapointed if he didnt get teh EVO. The torque is tehre from the start, unline my S where I have to wait til Vtec kicks in at 6K. The lower redline is an issue, but I cant wait to hear the BOV again.

Once we get the EVO and it is properly broken in, we will test it out and report back. I think we are on our way right now to get it. Have fun and we will post pix soon

 

Well we went to the dealership today, a different one from the one I had been talking to...Long story....

We drove 2 hrs to a dealership that said they had the car we wanted with Sunroof/spoiler for $31,500 OTD with no or very low miles....double & triple checked on it before we left to make sure it was what we wanted.

We got up to the dealership and here rolls the car we want....sorta. No sunroof. Pissed we go to leave. The salesguy (Charles) says the dealership made a mistake and will give us the deal we couldn't refuse. They will take $2k off the price (1k for no sunroof). So we wait. The guy is in with another customer that just bought a new car.

3 hrs later we FINALLY get in. 5 mins later he gets us a price of $31,900 OTD for the car without the sunroof!!! $31,9!!! We had one local for$32k but with 80 miles and sunroof!!! Pissed off (and the wife still sicker then a dog and throwing up), we go to leave....I ask if they can go lower as promised, then the Charles reverses his stories...."I didnt say that, I never told them $31,5....I never said $2k off."

Then I pulled 4 witnesses in that were with us when he told us......they wouldn't budge or anything. Finally we left back home with nothing. This so pisses me off!!!

Is there a reason why salesmen lie? Say they have something when they dont? Bait and Switch? I think Im just going to buy the one with 80 miles on it, turns out the one they had with just a few miles had 45 miles on it. Makes me mad that I drove all that way for nothing when the dealership around the corner gave me just about the same price
