11,000 RPM is so old news.......
Did you just say how awd and db have no customer service? I haven't dealt with awd but i have buschur racing and i can tell you they have great costumer service and respect for there costumers. Find me someone who says that they have had a bad experience with either of these companies.
I have no idea how this thread isn't closed...Or why anyone on evom would do business with BR or AWD....I come from an old school chevy background where respect and customer service are just as important as the quality of the product. If you can't get respect and customer service from one place then another will respect you and deliver you a quality product. People don't stay on top forever, it's the way competition and business goes. Eventually wether it be Spyros or not, David Buschur will not be on top. On a side note I love how David is taking his time on showing that another shop has done something that Spyros has done.... Video is posted of a spyrods built EVO that can hit 11k rpm. DB post's John Sheps DSM....Spyros posts his manifolds that are now available to the public...And DB posts ramdom picutures of some shop a thousand+ miles away from him. ET parts are now available to the public, and he is building a US car. STFU and we will see what it can do.
Smoke and mirrors.........mark my words boys..........smoke and mirrors.

There are lots of people, they are either A- afraid to say something due to being afraid to get banned. Or B- Have said something and have been banned for "vendor bashing" and their posts have been deleted. I personally know a few people who have spoken to David Buschur on the phone and he has cussed at both of them.
Edit: Also I'm glad you had a good experience, and I'm sure your car is nice. And actually to be honest I guess it isn't fair that I included AWD in the rant as I don't know anyone who has had any experience with them. However from reading this thread, It is very clear that Mike at AWD...Is a *****.

One is doing this for 20 YEARS and proven himself over all 20 years with 1000's of customers cars on 100s of different dynos and tracks..
The other is a self proclaimed genius who has proven NOTHING at all from what i can see.. A master of illusion possibly as far as im concerned.. Like comparing an apple to a cam gear honestly..
If im blind i know to follow the guy with 20 years experience not the guy who might be able to see worse than me.. My .02

You obviously didn't look or compare the pictures in the links I posted did you? You see nothing similar, wait, exactly the same? hahaha Maybe I will take some pictures of AMS's GTR stuff and post them up talking about how nice my new GTR parts are....
Smoke and mirrors.........mark my words boys..........smoke and mirrors.

I did look at the pictures and they are way to small to make any kind of comparison. AMS makes quality parts as do you, but I don't understand why you posted some random shops collector. I also don't understand why you are hell bent on trying to 1 up everything a SINGLE shop is doing by bringing in several different cars, from several different shops. Why is it that other vendors have posted in spyros thread amazed at the quality of their manifolds? It very well could be smoke and mirrors, but ET manifolds are on their way to the states, and an Us car ET car is being built. Why not sit back and relax and wait to see what those parts can do? Rather than waste your time posting random pictures, making yourself look like an ***, and losing business.
I never said blind due to "following." I specified blindly following. There's a very big difference. My point is Buschur certainly has cemented a respected place in the industry, but that's doesn't mean the man is beyond reproach which is what was originally implied in the post I quoted.

That other guy was just getting annoying asking alot of questions on info that is already out there. Seeme like he was just trying to be a d bag demanding answers to every one of his questions.
Well I perfer Shearer manifolds over the others I've seen. Im not going to be one of the guys who claims only 3k miles on mine like every one in the forsale section. Ive got well over 15k miles and it's the same as the BR tube mani's so a starting price on a steel one at $1100 up to however much the Ti ones cost isn't worth it IMHO also there is a science to how a mani is made to get the lengths right to time the pulse for optimum performance. With that being said what has ET done to test out theres and many other combos?
That they do but anyone can be sure when they put a BR part on the car it works. Not taking any credit from toxic but I'm changing alot around on my car and trying to go with 1 brand and the 2 most complete brands are AMS and Buschur Racing and I havent heard of much comming from their neck of the woods latley.
I know we're talking about two VERY different cars here, but back in the day when I did an H22A DOHC VTEC swap in my 92 accord the rev limiter on the ECU was set at 7400RPM. According the the VAFC it would bounce on the limiter at a maximum of 7442 give or take an RPM or two. Now, the factory tach would show about 8200 RPM or so. I've found factory tachometers are very inaccurate after the intended red line of the original motor. I think the ET video is showing just that. Especially after DB's observations on RPM vs MPH.
I have to say, I'm not a big Buschur Racing fan as it's been my experience that he plays favorites with his customers. Taking care of some better than others. With that being said, you are a great asset to the community and much more knowledgeable than myself when it comes to tuning and building engines. I have to say that threads like these are needed to put things into perspective for the people that really don't know any better. A guy like me could talk until he was blue in the face, but with a reputation like yours, you can set the record straight. I would like to thank you for that.
