Some posted this two days ago, but how could they predict the resale value of a vehicle even before it hit the market.

It's not the '05 because it's not out yet. And this is a repost from last week.

It's based on the 03 and 04 and how many are produced, etc. They are just using the most current model. Actually, this has been posted about 20 times for the last two weeks. It's very interesting every time.

it's not good news to those of us that are trying to save up the cash to buy an evo used here soon!! or maybe it is... tuff to find a used car that will still be worth what you paid for it a year down the road.

Put your car on the market and then you'll see how much it is worth , its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it ..... don't forget you still gotta make those monthly payments if its not sold

Trade it in for the '04 RS its the purest form of EVO. The front LSD makes a huge difference.

Great, wait 'till the dealerships start throwing this around. Talk about even more mark ups!
Still good to see though.

EVO resale is great in other parts of the world were Mitsu hasn't screwed their name up......not America. Check Kelly Blue Book, Car Max or aAuto Trader. Unfortuneately for EVO owners its a car that has a Mitsu symbol on it. Resale still sucks.

When I can find multiple EVO's for 23.5k in Autotrader and they are under 50k miles...Doesn't bode well for new car owners....... I bought a Acura Integra type R brand new and promised i would never do it again.

I plan on buying a used 03 next year and I have a sneaky suspiscion I will get it for less then 22k. Esp when the 05's and the MR are selling.

Resale on all Mitsu's suck.

For a 30k car to be found as low as 23k anywhere in states is bad.

that being said

I hope the MR and 05 models drive the price of 03's down some more. I'm in the same boat as the other gentleman I have a certain amount i want to pay for an EVO and its in the woods of 20k-23k. Its looking promising.
