Sea Foam
If you put to much in the brake booster then yes you can hydrolock it. Don't ask me how I know that because it sucks trying to dryout the motor in a v8. If you poor a third of it in and keep the car idled, it shoudl be fine. Yes you do burn it off, as someone stated but thats fine. Once it is gone it will still be in the system and it will clean out the car. If you put to much in at one time and the car stalls, and you try to restart it, then yes you have to be careful of hydrolock. Using a third of it shouldn't hydrolock the car but it has to remain running. If it dies out restart the car then add continue to add. DO NOT LET THE CAR STALL AND ADD IT TO THE LINE IT WILL IN FACT HYDROLOCK.

What I usually do is get a 1/4 inch hose off the intake mani put it in the can while it is idleing and let it take it that way but again becareful not to stall the car. Or if you have a buddy or someone there just have them hold it at like 3 grand and just drop it in the bottle a little at a time till its gone.

Yeah I just learned about the aerosol stuff but unfortunately they don't sell it anywhere in town here. I will have to take a drive and see if I can find some for next time.
HKS cam 272, enjin intake and piping, 3" TBE/down pipe and test pipe, MBC, and Fuel pump. The car is making 330whp. I normal get about 210 or 220 miles per tank but now I get about 250-260 so it's within the 50 miles gain.

So I just put a can in my gas tank when I filled up today. After less than a MILE of driving I noticed a difference. It's simply amazing. The on/off throttle bucking issues I've been having is completely gone and my idle is smoothing out significantly. I only have about 15 miles driven so far on this tank with the seafoam in it and I'm just blown away. Next oil change I'll be dumping another can in the tank along with half a can in the oil and the other half in the vacuum lines.

Just ran half a can or so thru mine. Tons of smoke after I let it sit and do it's work. Pulled a plug after I ran it hard, plug looked great, piston looked even better. I'm gonna change my oil next weekend, hopefully can get some better mileage out of her. I used to run a can thru my trans am every other oil change, and it kept it smooth.
