Where did you zip tie the upper pipe to? I don't see where you could

You can use the hole from the battery tray (on the frame). You shouldn't have to use it since it's for the stock battery set up.

That's what I did. It's more or less pulling the pipe to the drivers side of the car, but it's just enough to help.

hey guys, i'm looking at an evo fs, and the owner says "it goes into reverse but pops back out when let off clutch. so no reverse. doesnt need a new trans, syncros is just bad for reverse"

it an 03 evo 8. What do you guys think about his(seller) diagnosis? It sounds like the same problem the OP had, but turns out it was OP's UICP.
